The compact does contain a very slim velvety sponge which isn’t something I use personally, but it might be good for on the go touch-ups for oilier skin types. I know £12 is quite pricey for a drugstore makeup brand, but a compact of this powder lasts me for around four to five months with very regular use which works out at around £2 to £3 per month which I don’t think is too bad at all. It is totally translucent, and does an amazing job at setting my makeup all day long, and like the claims suggest it really is traceless on the skin. It never clings to super fine peach fuzz, nor does it cling to dry patches and it has almost a creamy consistency which I feel is why it looks so smooth on the skin. I always think it is a little pointless to include a swatch photo for a translucent powder but I wanted to include one to show you how smooth the powder looks on the skin. It offers world-class shine control and oil-absorption, is ultra-light, and gives skin a traceless, smooth, velvety finish. “ The secret to perfect, shine-free skin is… Soap & Glory’s new SUPER-TRANSLUCENT MATTIFYING POWDER. I have tried so many different translucent, pressed powders but One Heck of a Blot is one of my favourites and I love how flattering it is on the skin. I like that even though Soap & Glory have upgraded their packaging, the Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot is £12 for 9 grams of product, and is only £1 more than it used to be in the cardboard packaging and the compact contains a mirror within the lid. I really didn’t mind the cardboard packaging, but it did used to get really battered quite quickly so I’m pleased they upgraded the packaging to plastic compacts for their powders. Super translucent mattifying powder Oil absorbing, shine controlling face powder for all skin types Ultra-light, and gives skin a traceless, smooth, velvet. I’ve repurchased this powder at least four times since it launched, and when it did first launch it used to have cardboard packaging as did their Solar Powder Bronzer. The Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Super Translucent Mattifying Powder is a product I first reviewed in 2013 and to be completely honest, the post was a little cringe with really awful photos so I decided I’d do a new post.
